In this role, you’ll work closely with lead teachers to implement our play-based curriculum, helping children build essential skills and prepare for kindergarten. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Support lead teachers in using storytelling, crafts, music, and hands-on activities to teach key skills.
- Aid in fostering social-emotional learning and conflict resolution among children.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment that encourages exploration.
- Support lead teachers in tracking developmental milestones and communicating with parents.
- Collaborate effectively with co-teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive classroom experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and licensing regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or Assistant Teacher is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and early education principles.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- CPR Certification (preferred).
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- CDA or other teaching credentials (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position with an expected 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts.
