About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and energetic Teacher Aide to support our lead teachers and help guide children through daily routines, play-based learning, and structured activities. This role is vital in helping children prepare for a successfu  YB l transition into a more structured educational environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMM

• Assist lead teachers with classroom management and educational activities
• Supervise and engage with children during free play and transitions
• Help with routines: meals, toileting, handwashing
• Attend team meetings and occasional after-hours training
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and playground
• Follow all health and safety protocols
• Report any health concerns or incidents promptly

Health & Safety

We prioritize the well-being of both staff and children:

• Follow proper handwashing and universal health precautions
• Maintain hazard-free environments
  HBJB
• Adhere to IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and sanitation protocols

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must complete TB test, physical exam, and drug screening as required
• Pediatric First Aid & CPR certified (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, children, and families
• Physically able to lift, walk, balance, and care for young children

Schedule Options

• Monday to Friday
• 4-hour or 8-hour shifts available
• Flexibility to support program needs

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of experience working in childcare or preschool settings
